The Bachelor of Nursing provides diploma holders with an opportunity to upgrade to degree level. Students will demonstrate an increased understanding of the nature of nursing; evaluate and apply concepts drawn from nursing theory and research to professional practice; offer leadership to less experienced members of the nursing profession; demonstrate an increased awareness of the effects of cultural, social, economic, legal and ethical influences on the development of the nursing profession; demonstrate increased ability in critical reflection and research; display a readiness and ability to participate in positive changes; and demonstrate competencies that will enable health professionals to accept responsibility for a more complex level of client management.

Study Mode:

  • One year full time
  • Two intakes per year.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must have completed a Diploma in Nursing and registered with Indian Nursing Council
  • IELTS requirement of minimum 6 overall or equivalent.

  • Accelerated Learning for Professionals
  • Biological Principles of Disease processes

Semester II:

  • Evidence, Research and Practice

Semester III:

  • Physical Assessment and Clinical Reasoning
  • Dissertation
    OR
    Independent study module
