"Post Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care - Multidiscipline" @ Niagara Collage

Palliative Care is aligned with the “National Norma and Principles of
Practice” that have been developed by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care
Association. This certificate is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of
all health care providers who are working with or caring for those individuals
living with terminal illness.

Study Mode:

  • One year full time
  • Three intakes per year.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must have completed a Diploma/Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing education program.
    .
  • IELTS requirement of minimum 6 overall.

Study at INSCOL

  • Academic Study Skills Module (4 weeks)

Study at Niagara

  • Palliative Care- Introduction
  • Palliative Care- Communications
  • Palliative Care- Pain & Symptom Management
  • Palliative Care- Psychosocial Aspects
  • Palliative Care- Death, Grief and Bereavement
  • Palliative Care- Ethical and Legal Concerns

All the above courses must be completed before registering for the Filed Placement Palliative Care- Field Placement
